AI Mori is a private, AI‑powered journal. We are committed to protecting your privacy and giving you control over your data.

What we collect

• Account data: email address and basic profile metadata you provide.
• Content: stories, images, audio recordings, tags, and prompts you create.
• App diagnostics: anonymized crash and performance information to improve reliability.

How we use your data

• Provide core features like story saving, transcription, insights, and follow‑up prompts.
• Generate optional AI features (e.g., titles, summaries, tags, autobiography) using third‑party AI services.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the app.

Storage and processing

We use Supabase (managed Postgres with row‑level security) for authentication, storage, and edge functions. Audio files and images are stored in Supabase Storage. Some features send content to AI providers (e.g., OpenAI) for processing; where possible, we minimize what is sent and the duration it is retained.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share it with your explicit action (e.g., inviting collaborators to a profile) or with processors required to operate the service (e.g., authentication, storage, AI processing), each bound by confidentiality and data protection terms.

Your controls

• Export your stories as JSON from Settings.
• Delete your account from Settings, which triggers deletion of your content subject to legal retention requirements.
• Manage language and theme preferences.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us to request deletion.

International transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in data centers located outside your country. We implement safeguards consistent with applicable law.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When material, we will provide in‑app notice.
